Hydrant flushing will resume on Wednesdays beginning April 22, 2026.
You may notice discoloration in the water; this is because the pressure from flushing the hydrants causes a greater disturbance in the pipes than ordinary household pressure drawing on the lines. This should clear up within a few hours after flushing hydrants in your area. Flushing causes sediment to be flushed through the lines. You may wish to avoid doing laundry on Wednesdays.
Please note that hydrants are not flushed during drought warning situations.
